APS / TWO-AXIS HCPV SYSTEM
This is one of the single largest multi-axis array of tracking, solar collectors in the world, which includes a patented zero backlash mechanism designed by Raytech’s engineers. Solar power generated from the systems feed directly into Arizona's power grid, as well as into systems in several other states and countries. The system was engineered for precision, high reliability, and low production and maintenance costs. Raytech’s engineering group designed the support structure, drive mechanism, and hydraulic system, provided stress and wind load analysis, as well as procurement and vendor qualification services.
